Onehunga Vert Ramp
Well looked after vert ramp (one of the few in NZ). Its been recently widened by a couple of sheets of ply which is what most ramps in this country need. Eleven foot high with one foot of vert.
Directions
Its in Onehunga Bay Reserve on Beechcroft Ave, right next to the highway.

It’s wooden and warped with all the rain. It’s over-vert at the top, and there’s about 8 meters of flat-bottom so it’s hard just rolling around.
Have heard rumors that this is being done up, and resurfaced with skatelight. Can anyone confirm this?
Yup
Now with skatelite!
i love this because it so close to my house, if you dont live near it it would not be worth goin to but is has recently be resurfaced with this stuf that costs 1000 dollars per 10 sqaure meters, this is in hardly and skateparks in nz, you can pump up nearly to the top but only pros could do stalls on the coping, all in all good fun to go to
its fun but the vert is high. Not for beginners but its fun to just pump if you suck.
This is a primo ramp, not many like this anymore. Most of them got pulled down or burn’t by some looser’s. I,ve skated it heaps of times, and its set up is very good. I come from 80s, 90s era when all we did is skate vert. This ramp is awesome for airs and rail slides. The problem is its right beside a childrens playground. The kids keep running on the ramp to play just when you decide to drop in. If your just a park skater then this is not for you unless you can grow some balls. Its only for the real skaters as far as i’m concerned, you pussy homo’s that skate street.
